TECHNICAL DIRECTOR: SOUND AND LIGHTS. Part-time summer position(s).<\/p>\n
Maplewood Barn Community Theater, Columbia’s outdoor community theater, seeks one or more people to work the technical side of the house, specifically lights and\/or sound, for its summer 2010 season for four plays.<\/p>\n
Minimum commitment: working lights and\/or sound for a single production. This would involve working the boards for tech week (Sunday through Thursday) and during performances, every Friday through Sunday.Performances run for three consecutive weekends: total commitment of 14 nights per play.<\/p>\n
Working both lights and sound: stipend $200 per play run; if only lights or only sound are run, stipend $100 per play run. Practicum credit potential, depending on program requirements. Performance dates and additional background material available at www.maplewoodbarn.com.<\/p>\n
