Cara has previously directed <em>5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche<\/em> at The Warehouse Theatre (located on Stephens College&#8217;s campus) in 2018, <em>A Midsummer Night\u2019s Dream<\/em> at Columbia Entertainment Company in 2019, and&nbsp; <em>The Smell of the Kill <\/em>at Talking Horse Theatre in 2022. She also has experience in acting, costume design, sound design, and stage management. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cara serves on the board of directors at the Maplewood Barn as the chairman for the Willy Wilson Scholarship Committee. When she\u2019s not at the theatre, Cara works at Rock Bridge High School as the fine arts department secretary, and is currently pursuing a masters degree in Learning, Teaching, and Curriculum with an emphasis in Social Studies and a minor in Theatre. Cara looks forward to bringing <em>The Crucible<\/em> to life at the Barn for the first time since 1992, and is immensely grateful for the opportunity to direct during the Barn\u2019s 50th season!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cara Carter is absolutely thrilled to be directing one of her bucket list shows, The Crucible!
