The 2010 season begins with the comedy thriller Arsenic and Old Lace. Two elderly sisters, a murderer who looks like Boris Karloff, a young couple in love, dead bodies in the cellar, and a relative who thinks he’s Teddy Roosevelt add up to a beloved classic. Performances: May 20-23 and 27-30
The Barn offers a great evening of family entertainment with David Mamet’s Revenge of the Space Pandas. If you like the irreverent humor of Shrek or the absurdity of Monty Python, you’ll love this story of a boy genius, the little girl next door, and his pet sheep who fly off the Earth and across the galaxy on an adventure where they must avoid capture by the Space Pandas, keep from being placed in the Pumpkin Guillotine, and try to find a way back home. Performances: June 11-13, 18-20, 25-27
Our annual taste of Shakespeare comes from the highly-charged drama Othello, the bard’s tale of the Moorish general, Othello, the lovely Desdemona, and the treacherous Iago. Performances: July 16-18; 23-25; July 30-August 1
The regular season concludes with a trip to the legendary home of King Arthur, Merlin, and the Knights of the Round Table with Lerner and Loewe’s Camelot.
